Prior to practicing law, attorney Dawn Morris worked as a registered nurse for 10 years. This unique medical background provides an insider's perspective for our workers' compensation and personal injury defense practice. Every day, our clients benefit from Attorney Morris' extensive knowledge of the medical system. She is adept at interpreting medical records and spotting issues that other lawyers might miss. From her experience working in a high pressure, intensive care environment, she knows how to obtain results when stakes are high, deadlines are tight and multiple issues demand attention at all once.

During the course of her legal career, attorney Morris has gained significant experience in defense litigation and appeals. She has taken well over 20 cases up on appeal to the Louisiana 1st and 3rd Circuit Court of Appeals and the Louisiana Supreme Court. She was recently appointed Special Litigation Counsel for the Lafayette Parish School Board. She handles workers' compensation, general liability and employment issues for the Board.

Attorney Morris is admitted to practice in the state courts of Louisiana and Texas, the United States District Court for the Eastern, Western and Middle Districts of Louisiana, and the United States Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit.
